Adiyen has got Maga Bhagyam to have got this invaluable treasure of Sri Vaishnava Sampradayam in form of Koyil.org. I would call it as encyclopedia of our great Sampradayam.
The information is very organised and hence very easy to refer.
The knowledge is available in multiple languages thereby easily understood by many.
Knowledge is available at all levels – Beginner to Vidwans can refer.
Not just information but teaching is also imparted in our traditional Sampradayam method.

Today my brother in law turned 85
He also happens to be my cousin
Having not met him in over a year plus
We thought the time was apt
To visit him on his special day
I spent some time in the past days
Thinking of what may please him
Made me realise how difficult we make it
For others to please us
The simple answer to that is
We really don’t know what it is
That will bring that spark of happiness
For old age is not like youth
When it is easy to want something
I made a hamper in pace with my thoughts
I went shopping with my sil
And enjoyed choosing a shirt
I picked up benne Murukku and thengol
That had met our criteria of crispness
I included a humble offering of cash
I spent an hour picking and stringing
His favourite parijAtha flowers
As an after thought I took along
koyil.org’s new set of coloring books
Of perumALs and thayars, Azhwars’ and Acharyas
Perhaps my grand nieces may like them
I thought to myself while tucking it in
It was great to meet him after long
His blessings received
The parijAtha mala found a place
On the Srinivasa Tanjore painting by dear sis
The unstrung flowers were stored carefully
For the next day’s thiruvaradhane
Now what was it that brought that spark
To the one who has seen over a 1000 moons
Take your time but you may guess
Because of the photo you see
Yes! It was the koyil.org coloring books!
He started with the AzhwAr book
The periazhwar page was a great start
A smile filled his face as he stared at AzhwAr
The years knocked down the weary years
Like an eager child he recollected
All about Azhwars’ life and glories
‘Appa took all the coloring books you brought
He likes them and keeps looking at it again and again’
His children messaged me on whatsapp
How unpredictable it is to know what brings joy
A gift not intended was the one that brought the spark!

ஆர்பாட்டம் இல்லாமல் பல விஷயங்களை தேவரீர் நடத்தி வருகிறீர்கள்.
வரவரமுநி வித்யாலயம் பற்றிய விஷயங்கள் ஆச்சரியத்தை கொடுக்கிறது.

How did I get to be here?
Amidst bhAgavathas so lofty
And understanding things I didnt before
My mind takes me to Swamy Sarathy
What bhagyam to be in his chariot with others
The best things in the world
Are often taken for granted
Much like our parents who toil for us

Was like the sweetest honey ever
So filled with artham from sastram

By Swamy Sarathy’s Krupai adiyen learnt about Prameya sEkharam. adiyen is like a hungry kid going to his ‘kitchen’ for prasadams of various kinds and he is like akshaya patra ever willing to give. Drawing upon his knowledge is how the illustrations took shape in this book

adiyen is a great fan of the amazing and continually growing website/you tube koyil.org that has become a treasure trove of our ancient scriptures thanks to the herculean efforts of a very approachable, respected scholar Swamy u.v E Sarathy Thothadri. His engagement with bhAgavathas is stupendous. He is able to find an opportunity for any bhAgavatha who desires to offer any kainkaryam of their choice and fulfil their wish. His audios/you tube are very clear and a must-listen. adiyen greatly admires his tenacity, penchant and proficiency to communicate in multiple languages. His ability to reach out to those who are on the learning curve and encourage them to bravely forge forward is unique. He is a great educator and teacher who has such a unique and effective style of teaching that the learner doesn’t even feel they are being taught ( saying from sva anubhavam ) Blessed to have the opportunity to interact with one so knowledgeable and compassionate . Sreenmathe rAmAnujAya nama: It was a great bhAgyam to meet Swamy sArathy and ammangAr at Bangalore Yadhugiri Yathiraja Mutt and spend a divine few hours sitting with them in the presence of HH Yadhugiri Yathiraja Mutt jIyar who spoke very highly of Swamy sArathy and invited him to give an impromptu talk on emperumAnAr perumai. What a blessing to listen. A divine morning indeed.
